Richmond Home Improvement Co. are registered under the “Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2011” as an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Reg No. CBDU189720). Any Contractor removing and then Transporting a customer’s Waste Material on the Public Highway, must obtain a Licence from the Environment Agency and these are renewable every three years.
In recent years, many of us have been appalled at the sight of Fly Tipped Rubbish at the side of the Road, in Lay-By’s and Hedges. Using a reputable Contractor for your next project who holds a current Waste Carriers Licence is a way of being confident that your Old Furniture, Windows, Doors, Garden Waste and any other material that needs to be disposed of by your Appointed Contractor, is being done so in a responsible manner and at a local Licenced Waste Transfer Site, where much of the material is graded for re-use or recycling.
The cost of a Waste Carriers Licence is not expensive and the application process is very simple.
